‘Brian’ the 1275 GT

A father and son restoration project.

We were commissioned to carry out a full bodyshell restoration on this Mini, which began with the collection of the stripped shell from Newbury.

The usual shell panels were in need of replacing but, to retain as much originality as possible, we were able to repair the original floor and boot floor. One inner wing was repaired while the other had to be replaced. Also fitted were new door skins and a rear panel, including the rear valence full Clubman front end.

The shell was then seam/spray-sealed, prep’d, primed and finally painted in BLVC133 Flamenco Red before being safely delivered back to the customer (in our enclosed trailer) for them to recommission.
